Who we are

A facility, and a team that acts like one

We strive to provide a nurturing environment where athletes can explore their passions, develop skills and unlock their true potential. Through relentless dedication, innovative teaching and a commitment to personal growth, we push our athletes to overcome challenges and reach their highest performance.

Together we build a community that celebrates diversity, fosters teamwork, and instills lifelong values of discipline, resilience and sportsmanship.

At Speed Academy we empower athletes to new heights, and we ask them to define their own limits. There is no limit.

Coach Tevin Mclaughlin

Founder & head coach

Tevin moved to Central Florida from Jamaica with his family and built Speed Academy into a program that does more than train athletes. Alongside speed and strength work, the academy runs workshops on getting to college and setting goals that hold up after the season ends.

Speed Academy also operates as a nonprofit youth development organization in Sanford, and the work was featured by News 6 in Orlando.
